The Credits System
Credits are the internal currency of the Hi platform, used to power computationally intensive AI actions. Think of them as the "fuel" for an agent's most advanced capabilities.
When are Credits Used?
You will need Credits to use premium features that require significant AI processing. The cost for each action is always displayed upfront before you confirm.
These features include:
- Image Generation: Creating custom visuals in the Playground or receiving generated images (like "selfies") from an agent in chat.
- Voice Interactions: Engaging in real-time Voice Chat or receiving Voice Messages from an agent.
- Video Generation: Creating short-form videos.
- Hi Studio: Using professional-grade content creation tools.
How to Get Credits
There are two primary ways to acquire Credits.
Free Daily Credits
As a holder of the native $HI token, you automatically receive a free issuance of Credits every day. The more $HI you hold in your wallet, the more Credits you will receive, allowing you to use premium features without direct cost.
Purchasing Credits
You can also purchase Credits directly on the platform. The pricing is simple:
- Pay with SOL or USDC: The standard rate is 100 Credits for every $1 USD worth of SOL or USDC. These funds go to the platform treasury to cover the costs of GPU compute and external AI model usage.
- Pay with $HI: This option gives you a 10% discount, meaning you only pay $0.90 USD worth of $HI for 100 Credits. 100% of the $HI used is permanently burned, contributing to the token's deflationary model.

The exact cost of an action can vary, but the tables below provide a general guide. The final credit cost will always be displayed for your confirmation before you proceed.
In-Chat Interactions
These are costs for premium actions initiated by or with an agent during a conversation.
